“You do realize I probably should have called him, right?” She asked wit ha sigh, not even turning to face the other as she scratched Swampy’s chin right where he liked it before pulling out a pokeblock and giving it to the pokemon, smiling softly before going over to her desk.
“Rhod’ll be home soon, and I really don’t feel like trying to explain to him whats going on…” She grumbled softly to herself, grabbing a piece of notebook paper and starting to write, pausing for a minute to go upstairs and grab something to tie her hair back.
She wasn’t about to go and cut it since it wasn’t her hair, so she returned with a ponytail to her hair, the curl having been pulled and tucked behind her ear. Satisfied, she started writing, explaining how she was visiting her father and wouldn’t be home for a few days. Standing, she placed the note on the table, as usual, and went up to her room to find some stuff to change into while they were gone.
“Miki, come up here so we can find you some clothes.”
“But can’t I just wear Lime’s shirt?!” Miki called back with a pout and dragged herself up the stairs to the girl’s room. “I like Lime’s shirts they’re so soft and fabricy…” Miki faceplanted on the bed once she was in the room and gave a large sigh, her face grew into a smile though and she laughed in the covers. “He’s so dreamy…”
Gem bit her lip, stuffing in what she really wanted to say, instead going through her closet. “Come find something else, please.” She said, sighing softly. “It’s probably better that we wear each other’s clothes so no one suspects anything, okay?” She asked, buttoning up the shirt she was wearing one higher in an attempt to cover herself better.
”..why would you wear Lime’s shirts, anyway? You’d think he’d get annoyed if you have them and he wouldnt wear them anymore; and if you wear them they’re not his anymore.”
“Oh um… that makes sense I suppose…” Miki walked to the closet and picked up a ruffled dress that looked like it hadn’t really been worn much, she wondered why? Miki had seen the dress in a store but they had kicked her out telling her they didn’t serve her size, she had figured they just ran out so she looked elsewhere. “I wanna wear this, very… cute.” She grinned, then perked her head up at the question of Lime’s shirt. “He still wears them, I don’t know why he buys so many though … and he doesn’t really mind much actually.” She thinks a moment. “He never told me he was annoyed with it… he never acted angry… And he keeps putting them back in his drawers.” This got Miki thinking, she was puzzled for a good long moment then looked at Gem out of the blue. “What should we have for supper?”

Miki blinked while she looked at Swampy and listened to him talk, “Wow… Pokemon sound weird…” She pointed to the kitchen with a smile. “I’m gonna go call Lime and tell him I’m staying with you… er… you’re staying with me?” She scratched her head and blinked. “Strange…” She walked to the phone and dialed Lime’s number.
“Hello?” He answers.“Heya Lime it’s Gem, duh, Miki is gonna stay the week at my house, we’re having a shopping week and she’s gonna have some more sleepovers too, kay?” Miki said with a blush on her end, she had just seen Lime when he came home yesterday evening and got giddy just thinking about seeing him and how close he was.
“… G-Gem?” Lime stared at the phone as if it would go straight through to the actual woman, then replaced the phone against his head, “Are you drunk? You… You’re acting like Miki and it’s frightening me. Do you want me to call an ambulance?—” He froze before his eyes went into a dead glare, “… What do you mean Miki’s spending the night? I thought you disliked her? How can I trust she’ll come back without your snobby attitude?” Orcus shouted ‘Papa!’ at Lime and the man sighed, walking towards the child and craddling him.
Miki’s heart sank when she heard Orcus in the background, “Or— Erm! No! She won’t! How - how rude!” She smiled a bit knowing Lime didn’t think of her as snobby, “We’re bestest friends now! How do you know she hasn’t changed me?” She snapped back and immediately felt bad for yelling at him. “I’m even letting her wear my feather necklace thingy.”“‘Your… Feather necklace thingy?’” He asked and raised a brow. He shook his head and sighed, the sound of Orcus’s hand smacking against Lime’s face now audible. “Fine, whatever. But, I’m only allowing three days. She agreed to stay home if I got off work so we could spend time with the kids. Tell her I love her.” And, with that, he hung up.
“He… loves me…” Miki blushes and hangs up the phone, walking back to the living room with Gem and plopping onto the couch. “Today is the best day ever…”

Gem takes the lunar wing back, shaking her head as the necklaces are swapped. “They’re not so much nightmares..” She grumbled softly to herself as she slipped her own necklace under her shirt, trying to figure out how to explain.
“Well…Okay, so you know how Lime’s power from Giratina means he’s super strong? Well, mine’s being able to see the future, only it’s a bad future, I don’t usually see things that are good, It just means I have to keep the bad things from happening when that time comes around.” She notices how much she was talking. “Did you understand all that? Here, let’s go back to my house, Miki.”
“so you see most of the bad things… Like a superhero! You make sure there is good!” Miki smiled, she was so happy that she was wrong about Gem being just mean sometimes, she was just angry because she saw bad things but she was really a superhero. Miki gave a sigh with her grin on her face. “Oh, and don’t mind if you start hearing pokemon start talking …” Miki mentioned to her, “I know how to talk to pokemon and they like talking to me sometimes.”
“…Great.” She thought a bit, smirking. So now shed be able to know what Swampy really sounded like? That sounded fun. “Let’s go.” She took Miki’s hand, leading her down the familiar path home. Opening the door, Swampy waddled over to Gem’s body, giving the girl a happy growl.
(Welcome home, Gem! Did you two have fun?)
Gem had to hold in her laugh, Swampy sounded even sillier than she had originally imagined. “Swampy, I’m over here. Miki and my conciousness’ got switched.” Swampy looked over to her with confusion, looking the girl up and down once, scratching his head.

Gem really didn’t understand the explanation much, but she found it easier to stand when she managed to figure out what the other girl had meant, only half listening before taking the necklace and handing it over. “Make sure to hide it, though. Lime would kill me if I had that….can I have my Lunar Wing, Miki?” She asked, half irritated as the other girl started off again on something else. “Lime’s not gonna say anything, because we’re gonna tell him and Rhod we’re out for a few days, okay? You hear me, Miki?” she asked, hoping the girl could hear her over her own complaints.
Miki’s head pops up from the hole and she nods to the girl she holds up the lunar wing, “Hey don’t these help bad dreams? Do you have nightmares Miss Gem? You know if you sleep with pokemon or someone that could comfort you some.” She grins and reaches her arm as best as she can out of the hole for her necklace.

“Oh for Arceus’ sake, CALM DOWN.” The now green-haired girl yelled. “Stop messing with my face!” She complained, crossing her arms rather uncomfortably…stupid boobs in the way. “Miki, get up. Just be quiet until I can figure out what the hell is going on.” She sighed, tugging at a lock of the now long hair on her head, starting to think about what all could have happened….wait. Off balance! Gem stumbled forward, looking down to see what caused her to lose balance.
“Damn, Miki, how am I supposed to keep my balance with these giant things on my chest?”
Miki looked back and hopped over to her, finding she was really light now without her mommy boobs. “Well, you gotta balance it comes from your tummy!” She stands straight and places her hands on fromerly Gem’s tummy. “it’s like you’re a weeble wobble doll and you won’t fall over.” She then noticed the necklace on the girl and pointed to her bust, “C-can I have my necklace Miss Gem? I-It’s not that I don’t trust you with it or anything like that I just…” She smiled, “It’s really really special to me.” She smiled then it dropped, “OH MY GOSH! WHAT IS LIME GONNA SAY?! He’s gonna be so angry that I was so reckless!” She started shoveling a hole in the ground. “I’m so bad…”
Gem really didn’t understand the explanation much, but she found it easier to stand when she managed to figure out what the other girl had meant, only half listening before taking the necklace and handing it over. “Make sure to hide it, though. It only took seconds for it to happen. One minute, they were watching the water pokemon, Manaphy, explore the bay of Lilycove, and the next thing Gem knows, a flash of red envelops her and the other girl.
She had simply wanted to attempt to be friendly, since she disliked the girl for no particular reason. Maybe it was how innocent the girl appeared to be. Or maybe her voice was just that high pitched. Gem didn’t really know. Well, they had started some sort of argument, Gem trying her best not to be harsh on the girl, which sort of failed, and it seems that manaphy had sensed the tense atmosphere between the two, deciding on it’s own to help.
So now, laying on the beach , her gaze slowly regaining it’s focus, Gem was even more annoyed. Slowly sitting up, she rubbed her head, feeling an awkward sense of gravity on her. Looking down, her eyes widened. questions raced in her mind, the girl confused as she raked her brain for the answer. She looked around, seeing the other girl…no, that was her! She saw herself….and she shook her head.
This was NOT happening.
Miki couldn’t understand, she was sitting in front of the mirror and it wasn’t moving with her hands! “Hey! Hey Gem this mirror doesn’t work! Maybe it’s unplugged….” She looked around for her friend but couldn’t find her so she turned back to the mirror and crawled over to it, upon seeing that it wasn’t reflective glass she shrieked! “Is it the Gengar again?! I thought Lime killed you?!” She flung sand at her switched body and crawled back behind a rock. “Alright, gotta call Lime…” She looked down and noticed she wasn’t wearing her belt, and her mommy boobs were all gone! Quickly Miki scrambled over to a tide pool and looked at her reflection. “GEM! GEM!!! WHERE ARE YOU!?! GEM I TOOK YOUR FACE!!” She pinched her cheeks trying to take off the girls skin but yelped in pain and fell over instead.
